interested in extentions, but not sure where to start? Let me help!

I’ve been in your shoes before. There is so much information out there on the topic but to a beginner all the terms, hand-tied, machine weft, tape ins, i tips, rows, grams, can all be so overwhelming!

In our consultation first we’ll decide your goals for extensions. To add volume or length, or both? Then determine are you at your goal hair color or do we need to set up a color appointment to get you there? Finally, we will match you to a color swatch and order your hair extensions based on everything above!

Hand tied wefts

Ideal for someone with extremely thin hair and desire for the beads to be sandwiched between the wefts. The wefts are manually tied and very thin and cannot be cut.

At Home Care

Products

Sulfate free shampoo & conditioners are best. Use a good leave in conditioner/detangler and brush through after showering. When heat tooling be sure to use heat protectant. Oils can be used on midshaft to ends to add moisture. Be careful with sunscreens. Check the product page for product recommendations!

daily

Be sure to brush 2x’s a day, including your natural hair that is between two wefts. Do not brush directly over weft areas but separate to get on top and below. Dry shampoo can be used to eliminate wash days, or a horseshoe (only washing your top natural hair).

sleeping

NEVER sleep with wet hair. Wear your hair in a low loose braid or a high ‘pineapple’ bun. Heatless curl options are great too. Scrunchies and claw clips are best rather than elastics.

Machine wefts

Ideal for someone wanting a lot of extra length and density. Industrially sewn together by a sewing machine so can be cut and deconstructed.
